Endoscopic Diagnosis of Bronchial Tuberculosis in Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients with Different HIV Status

The objective : to compare the effectiveness of endoscopic diagnosis bronchial tuberculosis in pulmonary patients with different HIV status. Subjects and Methods . data obtained during tracheobronchoscopy 371 respiratory from 2018 2020 were retrospectively studied. indication for bronchoscopy was presence clinical radiological symptoms characteristic a patient. All divided into two groups: HIV+ HIV-. Results In radiographic findings tuberculosis, frequency confirmation Group 57/71 (80.3%), HIV- – 138/300 (46.0%), p < 0.01; χ 2 = 27.06. Most often, HIV-positive patients, infiltrative form bronchus detected 27 (47.4%) fistulous 23 (40.4%) lesions negative mainly 94 (68.1%) or ulcerative 24 (17.4%). microbiological detection causative agent increased when bronchobiopsy performed versus sputum microscopy, especially (from 39.9 91.3%), among positive 15.7 47.4%.
